Vick B's Contracting
Development Interface DesignThe Challenge
Vick reached out to Sparc in February 2021 with the intent of expanding his company's web presence. Vick had a website already but it was outdated, created by HomeAdvisor, hard to navigate, and had poor SEO. All of these things made it difficult for clients to find him, recognize that he does good work, and have an easy experience reaching out to him. We wanted to design and build him a new, stunning website from scratch and he was on board. The website has a beautiful interface, it is mobile-friendly, it displays all of his recent projects for clients to see, and there is an easy-to-use contact form with custom email notifications and auto-reply.

Our Approach
Like most businesses, the most important thing to Vick B's Contracting was gaining more clients. Their website previously had a poor interface so we started by redesigning all of it from scratch. We built the website with Vue.js and implemented powerful SEO that helped them quickly rank on the first page. Vick needed to display work for his potential clients to see, so in addition to the projects page, we added a recent projects section to the home page that filters the projects by the date they were completed and pulls them in to be showcased.
Interface
The interface is designed to make navigation abundantly clear for users. Slider animations are featured on the home page to grab the user's attention. It has information about Vick B's Contracting and their services all across the site. It has a testimonials section for easy reference. Projects are neatly laid out as well. When a potential client is satisfied with Vick's work, he/she can simply navigate to the contact page and find the company's phone number and email, or submit a contact form to Vick and his team to get started.
Admin Panel
The website features an admin panel linked in the footer that allows Vick and his team to log in to post new projects on their own. They can edit details about existing projects or add new projects. When they add a project, they give it a name, they add an image, they can specify dates the project was completed, what service the project fell under, and give a detailed description of the work that was involved. All of this information populates to the home page and projects page of the website when they click submit.
